Macon Villages '22Andrew and Emma Nielsen work out of Beaune in Burgundy, making great wines from near their cellar, Macon and Beaujolais. We even drank a great bottle of their Rhone Grenache down the street at Wynona recently. Their Chardonnay is from a sunny site in the Macon and has some great passionfruit notes alongside pear, apple and brown butter. Ripe and crowd pleasing. The limestone soils of the site keep it tight with freshness and minerality.
