DokkaebiDokkaebi meticulously redraws and reinterprets 161 goblin motifs drawn from architecture, roof tiles, murals, and decorative objects spanning the Three Kingdoms period through the Joseon dynasty. Complementing the visual archive, essays by Ahn Sang soo and cultural heritage scholar Im Young joo explore the origins, symbolism, and stylistic evolution of the Dokkaebi from fearsome stone guardians to the humorous, familiar figures of later folk art.
