1700 tals miniature med facetslebet glasDiameter 2. 5x2. 7cm. Beautiful hand painted miniature of an 18th century nobleman in a red jacket and gray waistcoat. The glass is unusually ground with small facets, we have not seen this before. It is mounted in a small fine frame in gold, mounted on silver and later mounted on a brass back. Originally, the image probably sat in a bracelet or longer watch chain. It is in very nice condition.
